Johannes Müller is Head of Communications and Head of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) at Airbus Defense and Space. He joined Airbus on January 1, 2022 and is also a member of the Executive Committee of Airbus Defense and Space.
In this role, Johannes Müller reports to Julie Kitcher, EVP Communications and Corporate Affairs at Airbus. Before joining Airbus, Johannes Müller was Vice President Communications at BSH Hausgeräte in Munich from 2017. He previously worked as Director Marketing Communication for both BSH Hausgeräte and Robert Bosch GmbH.
At the same time, Johannes Müller has been working as a freelance conflict photographer since 2011, supporting humanitarian projects and initiatives in Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali and other countries. He has a strong personal and professional commitment to ESG issues that are fundamental to the continued transformation of Airbus.
In his latest photo documentary, Müller accompanied Iranian Kurdish women who were able to flee from systematic torture and rape in their own country – to be trained as Peshmerga fighters in the northern Iraqi mountains.
