EVP Connected Intelligence at Airbus Defense & Space
Since February 2023, Karen Florschütz has been serving as the Executive Vice-President of Connected Intelligence at Airbus Defence and Space and is a member of the Executive Committee of Airbus Defence and Space.
Before joining Airbus, Karen held the position of Unit CEO for Customer Service at Siemens Digital Industries.
Since 1998, Karen has held various management positions at Siemens and Dresser Rand in the telecommunications and oil & gas sectors. Her roles included Senior Vice President of Operations Americas, where she oversaw all Dresser Rand and Siemens plants in the USA and India, as well as General Manager for Packaged Compression Trains, managing sites in Houston (USA) and Hengelo (Netherlands). In 2017, Karen moved to the Digital Factory division, where she became the Executive Vice President & General Manager for Automation Products and Customizing Solutions, and in 2019, she was appointed CEO of Customer Service within the Digital Services Division.
Karen began her professional career in the consulting sector in the USA as a Project and M&A Manager at EBT Consulting.
She studied economics and industrial science in Germany and Canada and earned an MBA in the USA.
