Oliver Falck

Prof. Dr. Oliver Falck is Professor of Economics, in particular Empirical Economics of Innovation, at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich and heads the Center for Industrial Organization and New Technologies at the Munich ifo Institute. He is also Program Director of the CESifo Research Network, the world's second largest economist network.

 

He holds a PhD from TU Bergakademie Freiberg and a habilitation from LMU Munich. Oliver Falck has published in leading economics journals and is co-editor of the best-selling 'Handbook of Research on Innovation and Entrepreneurship'. He regularly advises state and federal ministries, the EU Commission, associations and companies on innovation policy issues and the effects of digitalization.
